About Temple
What is my style?
If massage has become a part of your life, you know that every massage therapist has their own unique style. My style pulls techniques from a broad spectrum of training and massages I’ve received. I use techniques from my training in Swedish Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Reiki, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, Trigger-Point Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and from my work with other professionals.
Do you find it more relaxing to go slow or does the stimulation of speed help you drop in?
My goal is to address your reasons for seeking massage in a way that feels good and enriching for you by following my intuition. For some people, this means treatment-focused work with compressions, stretches, and point work. For other people, this means a more fluid, sense-enriching, artistic massage. In any case, my goal is to bring you to a state of nirvana: deep body and mind relaxation. What feels deep and enriching to you? Gentle touch or firm? What feels deep is different to each person. What opens your receptivity? Light touch or broad pressure compressions? Massage is especially special in that we can offer a safe, intimate, non-sexual touch. It may be the most valuable reason for a massage. Where else can you find an hour of touch devoted to you?
